About Us
What A Finished Machine Says
A customer once brought us a machine covered in additions. Three different lighting styles, two shades of black, a rear rack for luggage he never carried. Every individual purchase had been reasonable. Together they had cancelled each other out. We removed roughly a third of what was on it, replaced two pieces with better versions, and the bike immediately looked like it had been designed rather than accumulated. He rode it for four more years.
Who we serve keeps the standard honest. Restorers hunting a correct component. Riders who use one machine for everything and cannot afford to have it off the road. Touring groups ordering identical sets and expecting identical quality. Someone buying their first bike, nervous about fitting anything themselves. Each of them needs something slightly different from us, and none of them are served by a wall of unverified stock.
We do not intend to become large. We intend to be the place a particular kind of owner recommends without qualification, because the parts they bought from us still look right years later. In a trade full of noise, that is a reasonably quiet ambition, and we are content with it.
